Filing a Dispute on a Card Transaction
Do you have a transaction(s) on your account that’s not yours? Don’t worry, Heritage Grove is here to help!
Before you call, be sure to have the following information ready:
- Your card or account number
- Card transaction information that you want to dispute (card transactions only, if the dispute is for an account funding transaction, please reach out the branch)
Please note that the cardholder owner will need to be the one to initiate the dispute. If you have a joint owner on the account, they cannot start the dispute on your behalf.
Once you have the information ready, you can call the dispute center at 833-621-2748 from 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The dispute center will assist you with initiating the dispute, if any additional information/documentation is needed and the next steps of the process. In case you need to leave a voice message, the Dispute Center will return your call, not Heritage Grove.
If you received a fraud alert from our fraud center, please follow the fraud center instructions. If you confirm the transaction(s) are fraudulent with the fraud center, you do not need to call to initiate a dispute. The fraud center will assist you with the next steps.
To verify if the fraud alert is legitimate, here’s a list of numbers it should come from:
- 800-237-8990 – Fraud Center phone number
- 855-293-2456 – Number displayed when confirms fraud on SMS

- Fraud email notifications will come from creditunion@ourgrovecu.com
