Accepting Nominations by Petition for the Board of Directors
Members are the key to Heritage Grove, and we invite you to consider volunteer service on the board of directors. The open nominations period for Heritage Grove’s Board of Directors is closed. However, Heritage Grove is currently accepting nominations by petition.
Directors are responsible for setting policies, approving budgets, and helping to direct strategic planning. They evaluate operations and maintain financial performance standards for the credit union. They are also responsible for appointing the credit union’s President/CEO, who reports directly to the board.
Director positions are voluntary and unpaid; devote approximately three to four hours per month to credit union business including attending a monthly board meeting, a monthly sub-committee meeting, an annual two-day strategic planning session with board members and management staff; and training.
Directors must be members in good standing with the credit union; be at least 18 years of age; be willing to agree to a criminal background check and a credit check; and be bondable.
